I’m from Metro Detroit and storytelling, not cars, has been in my blood for as long as I can remember.
Film was hardly a massive industry where I grew up, but advertising was. I grew up with two Agency Producer parents. My dad spent the better part of twenty years at Doner before spending the last 10 at Commonwealth // McCann and my mom has helped to carry on the legacy at SMZ, a third-generation family-owned advertising agency, which is approaching 100 years of age. I fell in love with film when my dad showed me Taxi Driver at the ripe old age of 10. Needless to say, my mom was less than thrilled.
I spent the years up until I was seventeen annoying my friends about film & TV before I found the others like me at Emerson College in Boston. I went in wanting to be a Director / Screenwriter and came out with the itch for Producing that was obviously in my blood. I fell head over heels for Boston and would love to move back there someday. While there, I became infatuated with the Boston Bruins, much to the chagrin of my Red Wings loving parents. I’ve kept up with the Detroit Tigers to make them happy (and stay on their insurance plan).
I spent two summers in New York City working as a Post-Production Intern at the Office of Development and Design. In January of 2023, I packed everything I owned into my red Jeep Renegade (aptly named Clifford) and drove across the country to move to Los Angeles. I’ve been living here ever since. I started as an Intern at Supply&Demand before being brought on full time in June of 2023 as the Staff Coordinator. I’ve learned more in a year than I could have ever possibly fathomed and enjoy my weekly trips to The Grove AMC to see the latest release. Pacific Time makes it challenging to watch the Bruins & Tigers games but at 4pm you can find my hiding in my office with ESPN+ or MLB TV up on my second monitor.
